Reclamite Street Maintenance Projects Begin July 22 in Northwest Visalia
News ImageReclamite pavement street maintenance projects are scheduled to begin July 22 in the northwest quadrant of the City (west of Mooney, north of Highway 198), with the exception of Landscape and Lighting Districts in that area. This project is a cost-effective pavement maintenance method designed to improve street surfaces for years to come.

Houston Avenue Construction Project Between County Center and Woodland Street
The south half of Houston Avenue is being reconstructed between County Center Street and Woodland Street. Construction will commence on Monday June 30.

Houston Widening Project lane closures for July 14-18
The Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in cooperation with Granite Construction announces scheduled lane closures on Lover’s Lane and McAuliff Street in Visalia in Tulare County. This is part of the current widening project for State Route 216 (Houston Avenue). Crews will be working to remove and replace curbs and gutters in this area.
