My Background
I was a very late starter in art.  I was never exposed to art opportunities until I attended a summer class through the Getty Museum which was held in Fresno.  I began to pursue learning watercolor on my own.  Eventually I’ve added pastel and been fortunate enough to work with many local artists and nationally known pastelists such as Albert Handell and Maggie Price.  I’ve made wonderful friends in the local art community who serve to inspire me to continually grow.

My Inspiration
My inspiration is the visual images I see around us everyday and everywhere.  I enjoy capturing that little slice of beautiful landscape or the light illuminating a floral.  I hope that my viewer gets to see these through my eyes and then add them to their own experiences.
