Shelley Huff
"My father, an artist, influenced me to create art.  I returned to Visalia  after serving in the United States Marine Corp, and began taking classes at COS.  An instructor and artist there, Richard Flores, taught me so much about many things about art, and the art world.  He motivated me to not only create art but to get involved in the community and give back.  My husband and I owned a stained glass shop in town, we have sponsored a few street art fairs on that street years ago, and organized/sponsored Art in the Park, VAST: Visalia Art Studio Tour, and for a short period the Art Trail.  I am currently a board member of the Arts Council of Tulare County and serving as the Treasurer.  In the recent past I have taught art classes at La Sierra Military Academy, and currently teach art classes at the House of Hope in Visalia." - Shelley Huff
