The City of Visalia strives to provide affordable housing and opportunities to its citizens with the following programs:

Senior and Handicapped Assistance Repair Program: Provides up to $5,000 grant for senior citizens or physically handicapped individuals with very low-income.  Grants are provided to assist with emergency repairs or installation of fixtures that can assist with mobility problems.  This program is specifically for mobile home owners.  Contact Self Help Enterprises at (559) 651-1000 to obtain additional information or visit their website http://www.selfhelpenterprises.org/programs/programs.htm
