Earth Day 2014

Visalia's 2014 Earth Day event was celebrated on Saturday May 3rd from 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at St. Johns Riverwalk (Ben Maddox & St. Johns River).  The 2014 event focused on water conservation and included an exhibitor/vendors event,  low water use landscaping/gardening demonstrations,  birding and native plant educational walks,  water efficiency workshops, and live music along St. Johns River.
There was lots of information on what's new in water conservation and water efficient landscaping practices.

As always Visalia's Earth Day is a FREE public event and is only made possible by funding from community partners, sponsors and contributions.  A special "Thank You" to the many sponsors that helped to support Visalia's 2014 Earth Day celebration:
