| Over 200 participants celebrated Halloween by joining Visalia Parks and Recreation Department for the annual Spooky Sprint 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun. The event took place Saturday, October 29th at the scenic Plaza Park in West Visalia. The event displayed Halloween costumes and everyone enjoyed lively music. Participants received goodie bags, t-shirts and healthy snacks.
Event sponsors included Visalia Parks and Recreation Department, Jamba Juice, Prostar Industries LLC, Uni-Versity Fitness, Align Chiropractic Center, Adventure Park, Build a Bear, Linda’s Therapeutic & Sports Massage, Sole 2 Soul Shoe Store, North Target of Visalia, Costco and Walmart.

The next run event will take place Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Cutler Park and the St. John’s River Trail. The Tule Fog event will host a 5K,10K and Kids Fun Run.
