To provide guidance & police services to the students & staff of the Visalia Unified School District (VUSD), as well as to all youth in the City of Visalia, through instruction, mentoring, counseling & enforcement.
To ensure that the Visalia Unified School District is free of violence & intimidation.
To work with site administrators in making the overall envirnoment of each campus safe & conducive to learning.
To provide the City of Visalia with safeguards against juvenile delinquency through intervention.
Youth Services Officers are currently assigned exclusivey to each of the District's five high schools.
