ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR SWORN PERSONNEL
Currently, sworn personnel of the Visalia Police Department are eligible for:

• Uniform allowance ($975)- annually
• Standby pay ($1,000)- annually
• Transfer & specialty incentive for SWAT, FTO and Investigations ($750)- annually
• Through participation in the Disability Avoidance Program and meeting specified criteria, up to 3% of annual income reimbursement
• Use of physical fitness facility
• 88 hours holiday. Shift employees receive them in 44-hours comp time, and 44-hours in pay with vacation.
