Sergeant Dominguez began his employment with the Visalia Police Department in 2005. Prior to his employment, he worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department where he worked a variety of assignments.  

During Sergeant Dominguez's employment with the Visalia Police Department, he has been assigned to the Patrol Division and Violent Crimes Unit. Additionally, he has served as the Department's Spanish speaking Public Information Officer. In 2011, he was promoted to Sergeant and was assigned to Patrol.

Sergeant Dominguez holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. He is also a 2009 graduate of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Visalia program.
