Mission Statement of the Youth Services Bureau
To provide guidance and police services to the students and staff of the Visalia Unified School District (VUSD), as well as to all youth in the city of Visalia, through instruction, mentoring, counseling, and enforcement. To ensure that the VUSD is free of violence and intimidation and to work with the site administrators in making the overall environment of each campus one which is safe and conducive to learning. To provide the city of Visalia with safeguards against juvenile delinquency through intervention.
